Our experientially-based techniques for content delivery achieve results that traditional stand-up training techniques often do not. Our unique approach to training blends the fundamentals of adult learning theory and experiential education techniques. This means:

Content Delivery
In conjunction with Bellevue Community College, Univar Corporation developed a Strategic Planning and Thinking curriculum for their high-level managers around the world. Ilana was hired to facilitate this workshop in a consistent, engaging manner that meets the needs of managers based throughout Europe and the Americas. Now in it's second year, this "mini MBA" program continues to help managers increase their professional toolbox and managerial effectiveness.
We deliver off-the-shelf curricula in an engaging and accessible way. Our training approach stays true to the content materials while tailoring our delivery style to meet the needs of a diversity of audience members.
Content Development and Delivery
In her consultancy work for Nintendo of America, Ilana developed a highly successful program for high-level managers to mentor emerging managers. In doing so, she worked closely with Nintendo's internal training team to develop a multi-day curriculum that met the specific needs of organizational stakeholders.
She delivered both the pilot program and the full-length training, and she provided supportive coaching for the in-house trainers in order to safeguard the project's ongoing integrity. Currently the program is enjoying a great deal of success and a high profile within this rapidly expanding company.

Training of Trainers
Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission has repeatedly brought Ilana in to introduce approaches to training methods that yield a higher concept and skill retention rate. Law enforcement officers learn best from other seasoned officers. Ilana helped in-house trainers develop new techniques that worked for their audience.
We help experienced trainers improve their effectiveness by introducing new materials and instructional techniques. Our train-the-trainers sessions incorporate experientially-based training techniques that rejuvenate instructional skills and revitalize curricula. We work with highly experienced trainers to provide more diverse and effective learning experiences. Our training-of-trainer sessions help existing professionals both expand their repertoire of techniques and rejuvenate pre-existing curricula.
